Hi! My name is Darren, and I live in Manhattan with my parents and younger sister. I recently graduated from Avenues and will be attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor next fall to study Economics. I’m a huge sports fan and love playing and watching basketball, football, and baseball. Basketball is my main sport—I played on the Avenues Varsity Team and served as team captain for two years. I’ve been training and competing on the court for years. I also worked as a counselor at a sleepaway sports camp in Northern Wisconsin, where I was responsible for 10-year-old boys and ran a basketball club for kids ages 8–15. I’m excited to coach your children, share my passion for sports, and support kids in need this summer and beyond!
